Restaurant influencer marketing in Bangalore: a practical guide
Who to invite, whether to pay, what to script — and why the biggest creator is rarely the best choice.
Why it matters most early on
A new restaurant account has no audience. A creator already has one — and their followers trust them. That's why influencer content does the heavy lifting in your first months, while your own page grows.
The three tiers
- Micro / barter creators. Newer creators who are comfortable on camera. Often happy with a meal plus a small travel amount. Great for scripted videos and volume.
- Mid-size creators (roughly 30K–80K followers). Strong, consistent views at a reasonable per-video fee. Usually the best value for reach.
- Big creators (100K+). Trusted faces with big reach — worth it for a launch moment, expensive for everyday content.
We usually recommend micro and mid-size creators. With a good script, their videos can travel as far as a big name's — at a fraction of the cost.
Script it — don't just invite
"Come try our food and post something" gets you a generic video. Give every creator:
- A strong first-second hook
- The 2–3 dishes you want them to feature
- The one thing that makes you different
- A clear call to action — visit, order on Swiggy or Zomato, book a table
Then ask for the raw footage. Re-editing it for your own page gives you twice the content from one visit.
How to measure it
- Views and saves on the creator's video
- New followers on your page in the following week
- Footfall and orders on the days after posting
- Mentions of the creator when guests walk in
How we run it
We work with a network of 200+ Bangalore food creators. We choose the right ones for your brand, write the script, and edit their footage for a stronger hook. Creator fees are paid by the restaurant directly to the creator.
Influencer collaborations are part of our Growth plan (₹45,000/month), and our Launch Kit includes a 10-influencer launch night for new restaurants.
